We’re seeking a knowledgeable and field-ready Field Agronomist to join our mission of transforming agriculture through sustainable, high-impact practices. You’ll work closely with farmers, cooperatives, and internal teams to implement regenerative strategies, improve yields, and promote climate-smart farming solutions.This role is at the heart of what we do — supporting the people who grow our food, restoring soil health, and driving results that matter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular field visits to assess crop health, soil conditions, pest/disease issues, and yield performance
- Develop tailored recommendations for fertilization, crop rotation, pest control, and irrigation
- Guide farmers in adopting organic, regenerative, or climate-resilient farming practices
- Support on-farm trials and demonstrations of new products, seed varieties, and technologies
- Monitor and record agronomic data to track outcomes and inform best practices
- Deliver workshops and hands-on training sessions to educate farming communities
- Collaborate with R&D, tech, and sustainability teams to align strategies and share insights
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, Soil Science, or related field
- 2+ years of hands-on agronomy or extension experience, preferably in diverse or smallholder farming systems
- Strong knowledge of sustainable agriculture, organic methods, and/or regenerative practices
- Ability to assess and respond to real-time field conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with farmers and team members alike
- Familiarity with agri-tech tools and farm data platforms is a plus
- Willingness to travel regularly within your assigned region
