Job description
We’re looking for a hands-on agri-tech expert to help farmers integrate smart technologies into their daily operations. You’ll be the bridge between innovation and the field — supporting IoT deployment, sensor calibration, and digital platform adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and calibrate on-farm technologies including sensors, weather stations, irrigation controls, and field monitoring systems
- Provide hands-on training and support to farmers and field agents using digital agriculture platforms
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement upgrades or fixes in the field
- Collect and analyze data from digital tools to improve agronomic recommendations and system efficiency
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to adapt solutions to local environments and evolving challenges
- Document field processes, user feedback, and system performance to inform continuous improvement
- Support pilots, demos, and trials of emerging agricultural technologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agritech, Agronomy, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in digital agriculture, agri-tech implementation, or precision farming tools
- Familiarity with agri-software platforms, GPS tools, sensors, drones, or farm automation systems
- Strong technical troubleshooting and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in the field and train non-technical users
- Passion for innovation in agriculture and sustainable food systems
- Willingness to travel regionally for site visits and deployments
